Luis Ibarguengoytia, COO
Mr. Luis Ibarguengoytia has more than 13 years of experience as a COO of Sun Holdings, Inc., and some of its subsidiaries.
He studied a bachelor in Science in Mechanical Administrative Engineering at ITESM Campus Monterrey, in Mexico, and from 1997 to 1998, he worked as Procurement Senior Engineer at John Deere in Monterrey, Mexico.
His career in the Company begins in 1998 when he was entitled the Corral Group Inc.'s Vice president of Operations. In that position, he was responsible for the P&L results of 100 restaurants, and the management and control of annual purchasing. He was also responsible for payroll and other personnel matters, as well as the development and implementation of marketing.
In 2003, because of his excellent work as VP of Operations, Mr. Ibarguengoytia was named COO of some of the subsidiaries of Sun Holdings, Inc: Pop Restaurants, LLC., Fries Restaurant Management, LLC., Mucho Pizza, LLC., Golden Restaurants, Inc., Taco Supremo, LLC., and Magic Burgers, LLC. Later on, in 2006, he was also named COO of Sun Holdings, Inc. In these positions, currently performed, he is responsible for strategic business development and corporate planning issues. He is also responsible for the overall operations and performance of 300 restaurants involved in eleven states, and operations and corporate planning.
