Dallas, TX, October 26, 2021 – Taco Bueno continues to expand with a new location at 4900 State Hwy 73 in Port Arthur, TX. We have remodeled this location with vibrant, bold color schemes to emphasize our commitment to "Always Fresh, Always Bueno," which is how we make fresh and high-quality Tex-Mex every day.
The many new features that have been introduced in the newly remodeled location in Addison, Texas, will be incorporated into numerous locations that are currently in development. Bright and vibrant color palettes, energy-efficient led lighting, Mexican décor, colorful accent lighting, and high-top bar seating allow guests to use laptops and tablets. Digital menu boards and promotional signage are also featured. Tex-Mex flavors, ingredients, and offerings offered by modernized restaurants and frequent menu changes continue to fuel growth in 2021.
Founded in 1967 in Abilene, Texas, the brand is now present in 142 locations throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Taco Bueno is known for their unique items such as the Muchaco, which is a taco with a soft pita-like shell. They also offer an array of "Big Freakin" items, which are all of the menu favorites, but twice the size. Business Insider and People Magazine named Taco Bueno the best Tex-Mex restaurant in the US, beating out established competitors such as Chipotle and Qdoba.
In 2019, Taco Bueno was purchased by Dallas restaurant franchise leader, Guillermo Perales. Awarded the MUFSO Golden Chain Award and recognized on Nation's Restaurant News' Top 10 Power List, the CEO of this company is ranked as the 3rd largest franchisee in the US. For several consecutive years, Perales has been named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, IFA Entrepreneur of the Year, as well as Latino Leaders Magazine's 101 Most Influential Latinos. After acquiring the brand, he plans on using his experience to turn Taco Bueno around. Taco Bueno is expected to continue to grow and thrive with more than 20 locations opening within the next year.
